We charge an initial deposit to book your transition date and time. It includes the truck, mileage, fuel surcharges and materials. An additional hourly labor rate will apply as soon as movers arrive and contract is completed(signiture), two hours minimum. Call now for more information, we have staff on standby.
We offer live zoom, dual and messenger walk through video consultations. This feature is by appointment only.
MOVING DAY CHECKLIST
The following should be completed prior to moving day:
✅Pick up moving truck early if you are scheduled for moving laborers.
✅Arrange for a baby-sitter on moving day.
✅Get measurements of your new home's doors and hallways. Make note of any flights of stairs and landings.
✅List every item and box we will be loading onto the truck.
✅Tell the mover where you can be reached.
✅Leave a phone number of an alternative contact person.
✅Keep the moving company bill or rental receipt in a safe place until your goods are delivered and charges are paid.
✅Remember to check your old home for the following:
❌Turn off water
❌Shut off furnace
❌Turn off lights
❌Turn off air conditioning
❌Turn off appliances
❌Lock all windows
❌Lock all doors
❌Inspect all rooms
❌Leave garage door opener
❌Surrender old house keys
❌Inspect garage
We don't transport TV's without a television box, nor do we unmount them from walls.
